Eindhoven Ballroom Functions (EBF) is een oefenbal (competitie) georganiseerd door twee Voguers Leila en Shahin @mermie_lell @shahin.damka. Dit is een ruimte waar de ballroomgemeenschap samenkomt om te oefenen, maar ook om queerness, diversiteit en seksualiteit te vieren. EBF brengt de cultuur tot leven die je kon zien in een aantal beroemde series zoals Pose, Legendary of in de documentaire Paris is Burning.
De dansstijl Voguing komt voort uit de ballroomcultuur, die in de jaren 70/80 door gekleurde queer people in New York is ontstaan. Het is geïnspireerd op de modellen in het tijdschrift Vogue, waar ook de naam vandaan komt. Wil je meedoen? Voel je vrij om te komen. Toegangsprijs: € 5,-

The dance style Voguing comes from the ballroom culture, which was created by queer people of colour in New York in the 70s/80s. It was inspired by the models in the magazine Vogue, where also the name comes from. Want to join? Feel free to come. Entrance fee: €5.-
