It’s a wrap. De foto expositie ‘Goed dat je jezelf bent’ is klaar! Jij hebt je als fotograaf of model ingezet, of je hebt als organisatie een foto aangeleverd. Hiervoor zijn we je dankbaar. Op zaterdag 27 mei willen we middels een bescheiden feestelijke opening jullie bedanken voor je inzet. Jullie zijn van harte welkom om als eerste een kijkje te nemen bij Pennings Foundation, Geldropseweg 63 om 16.00 uur. De expositie zal tot 24 juni te zien zijn en is gratis te bezoeken. Deel deze uitnodiging gerust met vrienden, bekenden, jullie aanhang of via social media. Iedereen is welkom!

 

Over de expositie:

Iedereen kent het stereotype beeld in de media van LHBTIQ+ personen; dragqueens, gespierde mannen in leren harnasjes of de uitbundige personages in een serie. 

 

Queer 040 wil met deze expo laten zien dat de Eindhovense community zo veel meer is dan dat. Ze bestaat uit ouders, professionals, party animals, activisten maar bovenal mensen met hart en oog voor elkaar. In onze vooruitstrevende stad vol ontwikkeling en technologie is de kern ‘Wat goed dat je jezelf bent’.
 

12 portretten, geschoten door 7 fotografen. Grotendeels speciaal geschoten voor de Pride Maand. Daarnaast zijn er beelden beschikbaar gesteld door bevriende organisaties, waaronder Daydaygay en Ballroom Eindhoven om een zo divers mogelijk beeld van de community te laten zien.
 

De expositie is met grote zorgvuldigheid samengesteld door Johan Stribos, voorzitter van Queer 040 en fotograaf Inge Pijl, die tevens 5 prachtige beelden maakte. Naast haar zijn er bijzondere foto's te zien van Faron van Leeuwen, Bas Berends, Se7en Photography, Hank Kooijmans, modelz_secret & Barbra Medo.

We zouden het op prijs stellen wanneer je middels onderstaand formulier laat weten of je bij de opening bent.

It's a wrap. The photo exhibition 'Good that you are yourself' is ready! You have deployed yourself as a photographer or model, or you have supplied a photo as an organization. For this we are grateful. On Saturday May 27 we would like to thank you for your efforts with a modest festive opening. You are most welcome to be the first to take a look at Pennings Foundation, Geldropseweg 63 at 16.00h. The exhibition will be on view until June 24 and is free to visit. About the exhibition:

Everyone knows the stereotypical image of LGBTQI+ people in the media; the drag queens, muscular men in leather armour or the exuberant characters in a series.
 

Queer 040 wants to show with this expo that the Eindhoven community is so much more than that. It consists of parents, professionals, party animals, activists, but above all people with heart and eye for each other. In our progressive city full of development and technology, the core is 'Good that you are yourself'.
 

12 portraits, shot by 7 photographers. Mostly shot especially for Pride Month. In addition, images have been made available by friendly organisations, including Daydaygay and Ballroom Eindhoven, to show the most diverse possible image of the community.
 

The exhibition has been put together with great care by Johan Stribos, chairman of Queer 040 and photographer Inge Pijl, who also made 5 beautiful images. In addition to her, there are special photos by Faron van Leeuwen, Bas Berends, Se7en Photography, Hank Kooijmans, modelz_secret & Barbra Medo.
