Maak je op voor een avond terugkijken en vooruitblikken op de emancipatie van LHBTQIA+’ers in Nederland. Waar komen we vandaan, welke mijlpalen hebben we al bereikt en wat moet er allemaal nog gebeuren om te komen tot volledige emancipatie? Wat ging en gaat er goed en wat nog helemaal niet? Een quiz vol humor en hilariteit maar met een serieuze ondertoon.
Jij bent de kandidaat in deze quiz. Aan de hand van filmpjes en nieuwsberichten uit de collectie van Beeld & Geluid speel je op je smartphone drie rondes over de geschiedenis, het heden en de toekomst van de LHBTQIA+-emancipatie.

Where did we come from, what milestones have we already reached and what still needs to be done to achieve full emancipation? What went and is going well and what not at all? A quiz full of humour and hilarity but with serious undertones.
You are the candidate in this quiz. Using films and news items from the Beeld & Geluid collection, you play three rounds on your smartphone about the history, present and future of LGBTQIA+ emancipation.

About the host Harm Edens:
Programme maker, scriptwriter, columnist, chairman of the day and speaker/professional troublemaker; just like his character, Harm Edens is surprisingly versatile: witty, sharp and alert, but always substantive. Harm was born curious and doesn't beat about the bush. His main motivation: making genuine contact with his audience. Harm has presented the satirical quiz Dit Was Het Nieuws for over 26 years. In 2022, he made the podcast And They Lived Gay and Happy. The fairytale of LGBT+ freedom in the Netherlands.
